photographs and Barbara McClintock
 

I remember when Barbara McClintock would walk through the lab; my dad, Herb Parsons, knew her and I was amazed when they built the [McClintock] building over there for her. My dad's photo dark lab used to be right across from where her lab is now. He had a dark room here and he would snap photos of scientists and develop them in the lab so they could be incorporated in CSHL abstracts and publications. It was always interesting to know he knew these people first hand. All his photos are probably in the Archives, they are probably not attributed to anyone but in the early 80’s before they got a professional photographer he took most of the pictures.
