Meeting Barbara
 

Barbara died before I came to the lab from Banbury but even before I worked at the lab about twenty years ago I worked for a tree company doing pruning and cutting. The lab was our customer and I used to come to the woods because there were some dead trees that they wanted us to cut down so we spent a couple of days in the woods cutting down the trees that were hazardous. A couple of times we crossed paths. But at that point I did not know who she was. We would talk for a bit and she would ask us what we were doing. She was very concerned about the trees and the woods. There are beautiful trails back there. You feel like you are a hundred miles away. It is a nice area, a nice woods and she really appreciated that.
