Default growing up at the lab

Everyone sees the labs as a Mecca but to us it was just one big playground, a big campus for me and my friend Ivan to run a muck. We had a lot of forts and secret hiding places; the most important one was in the Carnegie library. They had these big giant bushes, but if you went behind them they were kind of hollow, so we would set up tents and chairs and we would tell stories.
